THE NEED:
Students from villages often do not have the money required to pursue education past high school.  This adversely affects the jobs they can procure, and limits their ability to help their families break the cycle of poverty.
OUR VISION

Tomorrow’s Generation project exists to bring hope and a bright future to young people by breaking the poverty cycle through education and Jesus.  We provide sponsorships for needy village students to pursue university in the city.  In addition, we provide opportunities to gain knowledge and valuable work experience through internships and volunteer opportunities with New Life Foundation, New Life Fellowship, and New Life School.

Skills Training Center

Skills Training Center

Skill Training Center

New Life Foundation has been a non-profit organization based in Cambodia since 1994. New Life Foundation operates an education project (known as the Skills Training Center) that provides foundational educational opportunities for local Cambodians – the catalysts for a great future for every individual, regardless of background. These opportunities primarily consist of language education, computer skills, office skills, life-skills training, and leadership development. Since 1994, more than 20,000 lives have been significantly impacted positively through our education project.

Our  Vision and Mission

Skills Training Center has a clear VISION based on 2 Js – JESUS and JOBS. We aim to give Cambodians a hopeful future by receiving decent JOBS with a reasonable salaries. We are also committed to sharing the love of JESUS with all the students as well as connecting them to church.

Our MISSION is to provide quality education in languages (English, Thai, Chinese), office and computer skills, leadership, and life skills for the local community.

The training is “free of charge” (a requirement by the Cambodian government for an international NGO operating in Cambodia). The goal is for all our students to be well equipped and have a hopeful future in their careers.

Spiritually, we also try to connect the youth from classes to the church by building a genuine relationship between teachers and students. We share Christ’s love with them on any occasion and encourage them to join cell groups and LG (Life Guideline) classes for spiritual counseling.

Our Goals

Skills Training Center has greatly impacted the community and society these past months through education and our supplementary courses. It was an incredible journey to walk through with those students and see that all of our students can be well equipped and have a hopeful future in their careers. From 2022 till September, we have 2012 students who have gone through with us with both locations (1911 SMC Campus & 101 North Campus).

Moreover, 50 students got a job during our courses, and 83 people gave their lives to Jesus, and we also connected them to Church and ministries.

We aim to have 2500 students involved with our classes with free language, office skills, life, and leadership courses throughout the year, and we would like to see enrolled students hear converted. We are committed to providing all the marketable job skills mentioned above to youths and young adults, impacting them for the rest of their lives and many others surrounding them and this whole nation of Cambodia.
